Wierd Fifa 09 glitch; keeper handballs it, no sending off

I had got fifa 09 the day before and was playing my own tornament with crewe alex, i brought my keeper out of the box and he picked it up with his hands, took it back into his box and the game continued without the keeper getting sent off or atleast the game finishing (Y)
