@AquiraPrincess go to the doctor! i was in the same boat as you. i didn't see my doc b/c i was afraid of what they were going to say...even though i had a good idea that i had PCOS. i finally had had enough of wondering and made an appointment. my doctor confirmed what i had already known and am now on clomid to hopefully start inducing ovulation. any other questions or concerns, let me know :)

I was diagnosed with this at 17. I was put on a low dose birth control and I've gotten a lot better. My body hair is thinning, my cysts haven't come back, and my hormone level is normal. When I got checked out for PCOS, my testosterone was over three times above normal. I wish the best of luck to you, ladies.

@TheMaidofmist.changing your lifestyle helps a lot..i.e. eating low GI food, lots of veggies and some fruit.stay away from white flour and sugar! The main cause for pcos is insulin resistance, so check if you have that.a great supplement is inositol, which is also found in some vegetables but we are often too careless to eat healthy so this works fine..also take a good natural source multivitamin; vitex, licorice, dong quai can lower androgen lvls, while dandelion clears the liver.

my weight should be around 70kg, which is appropriate for my height.....Well, positive outlook of life really helps, including prayer....

i had it since god knows when i had a six inch cyst removed when i was 14. it was so pain full they told me then it was not a chance that I could have a baby. I had my daughter at 19 with no problems. but I lost alot of weight before i got pregnant. And that helped. Good Luck ladies. They don't know what we go thru.
