Boston & Maine Railroad Northern Line New Hampshire

This is a redo do to youtube screewing up the other
Film from my fathers 8mm camera.
Start of with a big freight in front of Andover town sheds
Then the next run is in front of Dyers Crossing in Andover off RT11. Then going in front of Highland Lake by the old run around. Then on top of hill Next to RT11. Then by town sheds again. What a Power line up GP7 in blue bird blue, Alco RS3, And a F3 Phase A unit.
Then A shot of a Freight heading North under Rt 11 Bridge from Franklin NH to Andover. Just think this is all gone to day. Its a damn snowmobile trail

All I can say is WOW!!! this is so impressive. The many times I walked tracks in NH, i always wondered what it was like to see a train on these tracks. Thanks so much for giving me this glimpse of NH railroading. I never thought container cars were moved on the Northern Line.

This is amazing!! Check out all the cool freight cars!! Most guys didn't do that, because 8mm was expensive. He shot almost the whole train. Please give your dad my thanks.

Thank you for sharing. I sure miss the old fallen flags we can see in this video. The Northern Line I think was foolishly allowed to rot. Typical of New Hampshire, and sadly the way things seem to go up there. I too hate to think this is only good for snow mobiles today. We can only hope that someone will wake up some day and see the potential for this route again.
