@razzmatazztwink - The US has a huge Persian population... approx. 2million by most estimates. The average American wouldn't be able to point to Iran on a world map let alone look at someone and guess Persian heritage. Los Angeles has a very big Persian population. Sadly - we don't live in a world where the two countries have good relations. :(

You should search the album "Dood-é-ood" (in persian: دود عود -) by Mohamad reza Shajarian. Anayway, the piece you have listen is more or less a full version.
