Building a camp fire inside my tent on a cold winter day.
I like to build what is known as the "Upside down Fire " where I place the biggest logs down first on the bottom, then place smaller wood on top.

I actually start the fire near the top of the wood pile as this allows me to sit back and enjoy the flame without needing to constantly attend to it.
If correctly stacked the fire should burn all on its own and not require my adding more wood to it for a long time.

To start the fire I'm using cotton balls dipped in Vaseline , because nothing beats that when using a sparker.
