Ocarina of Time 3D Major Glitch: How to start a new game with ANY item on B

A week ago there was a pretty popular glitch by tipsd9video that enabled Child Link to have the Master Sword/Broken Giant's Knife as soon as you start a new game, the method was unknown because of how unexpected this glitch occured.

It got featured in numerous gaming blogs such as 3DS Buzz and Zelda Dungeon. Recently with useful members joining in Zelda Speed Runs who also got the glitch by accident:

lordpsi99 posted his experience and mentioned something that potentially lead to the cause of the glitch: "I get on Epona and ride around for a bit and might have left the game idle for maybe 5 minutes"

Grimic posted his experiences with the glitch which lead to both him and CloudMnintendo figuring it out why it happens so major shoutouts to them really.

This video here shows how to start the a new game with ANY item on B, not just the Adult only blades. It requires going through a procedure called Bottle Adventure where you can have any non-sword item on B from Bottles to Boots.

Once you have the desired item on B, you ride on a horse OR go to the fish pond and get a Rod, then Quit the game (saving is optional but NOT required).

Then you create a new file, and from there you start off with a B item Adult Link used to have before riding on horse or getting a rod (in this case the Hammer)

The best thing about having Hammer on B is that, you can progress through the game much more easily than Start with Master Sword on B, you'll see why.

Mini checklist (incomplete)
If Item II on Child is bugs in a bottle and XX is the amount of arrows on bow.
xx = item on B
Some might be incorrect because OoT 3D has added 2 more 'action button' based items (Hover Boots & Iron Boots) So feel free to comment back on what is incorrect.

45-55 = Adult Trade item
33-44 = Child Trade item (Zelda Letter, and masks)
20-32= Any item that is related to bottles
19 = Nayru's Love
18 = Light arrows
17 = Hammer
16 = Beans?
15 = Lens of Truth (or hover boots??)
14 = Boomerang
13 = Farore's Wind
12 = Ice arrows
11 = Longshot
10 = Hookshot
9 = Bombchu
8 = Ocarina of Time
7 = Fairy Ocarina
6 = Slingshot
5 = Dins Fire
4 = Fire Arrows
3 = Bow
2 = Bombs
1 = Deku Nuts
0 = Deku Sticks

It needs a small fix to find out where Lens of Truth, Iron Boots and Beans needs to go.

Oooh, glitch! If you get on a horse and quit with the Biggoron's Sword, you start with the Master Sword held like the Biggoron's Sword and stabbing Link's foot!! Weird...

It's actually a broken giant's knife, the model is messed up as it wasn't intended for Young Link to wield it.

on the items you need screen it says bugs in a bottle 17 arrows on bow empty bottle on B and iron/hover boots. what do you mean empty bottle on B?!

None, if Adult Link has the Master Sword on B, you can exit the game as soon as you are on a horse.
