In "Just for the Sport of It," students learn about the science of baseball during a search for the center of percussion, or "node" of baseball bat, referred to as the "sweet spot". That's where the ball goes furthest because it has the most energy behind it. "Just for the Sport of It" covers the law of energy and conservation, and principles of physics.
