@MrWhenwherewhat They are meant to be more of a country dog, but, like I said, if he/she gets out enough, they'll be fine(:
Maybe look into agility lessons for the dog, it'll give you both something to do and bond over and a great outlet for all of your pup's extra energy.

They love Frisbee and tennis Balls and will chase them for hours! Make sure you play either for an hour+ or twice a day at the least(:

Sure...you just have to be able to take them for TONS of walks. And a sheltie will commence to perform zoomies indoors using the furniture as obstacle courses if you don't take them out for enough walks and runs.
