May I ask why you report on U.S. news and issues? I presume that there are glbt issues "down-under" and I think that some of us no familiar with then would like to hear about it.

I did include Australian news, but it seems like the changes that are happening in the states are more rapid that those happening in Australia. The most you can do in Australia is get placed on a relationship register or get a "Civil Union" whereas in the US, already 6 states and counting are allowing same-sex marriage.

But, in saying that I will try to include as much australian news as I do US news

I believe Obama will help GLBT equality in time, but politically I'm willing to be patient while he does all to just keep the US from collapsing inward.
