I've performed this several times, the first being fall 2000 in high school, then again in 2003 on my college choir tour to New York City. I searched for this song tonight in remembrance of 9/11 and wanted to share it on facebook.
The lyrics and melodies of this work do enough on their own to move the soul. The delicacy and sensitivity your chorus have in this performance reminds me again why I love this song, and why we performed it in NYC as a special dedication...
