I'm afraid they're not. Those guys wearing balaclavas are members of MEND (the Movement of the Emancipation of the Niger Delta). They claim to fight for justice for the Niger-Delta region. In reality, they're a bunch of criminals (ex-political killers, cultists, and illegal bunkerers) responsible for the deaths of soldiers, police officers and innocent civilians (including a family member of mine). With all due respect, they're NOT part of the Nigerian military.

You funny! Dressing up in a uniform and carrying a rifle along with a bunch of your best drinking buddies does not make an Army.
No doubt they would shoot me full of holes. These guys are militants playing govt soldiers. They are corrupt, ill equipped and lack trained. Their leadership is a freaking joke.
