Thumbs up if you're still listening to this song in 2011! =[)

@Torn2Bitz naww it's fine, it matches the hmong words perfectly.. - if it's not like that then its a total different song../ that's the problem in most cases though: the translation isn't too direct, there's missing parts.
-
ehh not going to try to defend what i've stated. you obviously dont understand the gist of what i was trying to say in my earlier posts.. about 7 months ago
-
@Torn2Bitz Actually, the translation is right. I don't know how you'll translate it but if you did, it probably wouldn't make sense. Cause this translation makes perfect sense to me. =/

wow
\never heard of it
the only problem with the translation: it is too direct... meaning word-for-word translation...

@Torn2Bitz isn't that what "translating" is?

@purple09
yes and no.
do realize that the hmong language has far less vocabulary than English. when you translate something word for word from hmong to english... you can mix up some of the words... and it can also mean that if you dont have a broad enough english vocabulary.. you might be sticking to some pretty cheesy lines.
direct=loss of meaning as you translate from hmong to english... but whatever. everyone can live with different translations

@Torn2Bitz i agree with you about the vocabulary of the hmong language but in this case...how can you translate this song AND keep its meaning if you dont translate it word for word?

@Torn2Bitz I actually agree with this comment. I hope you (the uploader) didn't find this comment to be offending/insulting...instead, think of it as a constructive criticism. You worked hard to complete this clip, and I give you props for it. Keep working hard and keep practicing..one day you'll be a MASTER TRANSLATOR.
