  • No disrespect> But I am an apprentice mortician in a funeral home. Looking at the picture when this young lady was alive and looking at her casket>>I see that the funeral homes embalmer made a mistake.

  • @cnmmnc8852 It does look like she is awkward in the casket....the wig she is wearing doesn't become her...esp. the pic. they have blown up of her and she looks older in the casket than she does on the picture. Also, what's up with the clothing??? I do respect the dead, but I think the funeral home should have done a better job in presenting this young woman---she looks beautiful on the picture...I don't know what went wrong when they fixed her body up.

  • So sorry for the families loss....but oh lord they did a horrible job......She looks nothing at all like her photos...R.I.P Ms. Emily.....they could have done better by you sheesh

  • D.W.BROOKS FUNERAL DID A POOR JOB, NO DISRESPECT TO THE FAMILY!

  • What the What why is she laying like that .Poor work

  • Yea they is wrong for that one but rip

  • @jlicey2 The bottom line is this: the funeral home could have done a better job in how the body was presented. It doesn't matter the condition of the body as I have seen photos of people's who's face was torn off, and you wouldn't be able to tell it viewing the body b/c the funeral home did a wonderful job. It's clear to me and others looking at this beautiful lady, that the body didn't appear to be placed properly in the casket, ad her chin looked like it was touching her chest.

  • @Joe28Super Yes! My brother passed away April 7, 2011 and he look exactly like himself lying in the casket

  • @Famfriass Nor did you have knowldge on condition of the body when she was brought to the funeral home. For all you know that could be a total face reconstruction with countless hours of restorative work behind it. I know all "you" the consumer see the final product which is layed out in front of you. Re: the wig and clothing you can only work with what the family brings in even with guidance from licensed prof. they ultimatley make the decission on burial garments and hair.

  • @Joe28Super What mistake was made in your opinion? What methods would you hvae used to prevent what you concider a "mistake" from being so noticible to you?

  • @Famfriass i ddnt say she ws a bad mother cz i dnt knw, she might have been & im sure im not the perfect mother, but an ever better mother wud have made a better choice cz once u have kids, they come 1st.
