Summoning Ifrit : Final Fantasy X on PCSX2 PS2 emulator r1888

1. The setting in the 2 images above are ONLY for FFX! It will most certainly give problems on other games, but works very well for FFX for maximum performance and quality. Make sure to use the DX11 renderer if possible as well, the OpenGL's don't work that well on Windows for this game.
2. No, this is NOT how I would play normally, I'd never be able to get to the Dark Aeons then ;)
3. It was a bit longer than I meant, but what the hey.

A summon of the aeon Ifrit ( FFX ) running on PCSX2 beta r1888.
Please note I've killed a lot of the graphics to even be able to record it, my CPU is at 95% usage at all times in FFX as it is, so the capturer doesn't really help out xD

System specs :
CPU : IC2D E8200, FSB @ 1500MHz, real CPU : 3GHz
GPU : nVidia Geforce 8800GT ( stock settings ), FFX running @ 1920X1200
OS : Win7 x64
4GB of crappy RAM.
PCSX2 : R1888 of full FPS mayhem.

Just wanna add : FFX runs very well on PCSX2 with correct tweaks, my system is a tad too weak for some games ;)
But the graphics improvements are well worth it.

The summoning engine for this game is awesome, wish it was this good in the other games, instead of just being the equivalent of a black mage spell

what did you use to record the screen? I using camtasia studio and it's like 30 fps only? can u suggest me?

ZD Soft Game Recorder. When it works, it's great, has a good FPS.

It can be a little annoying to get to work though.

What are your graphic settings? could u make a video on what like boxes to check cuz im having trouble... my sound is fine but my video is always laggy and i want to try to fix it to run the best it can...

Try changing codec. I like to use the "AVI file - MS-MPEG4 V2" myself.

hey i tried out ZD soft game recorder and uhm well

it records no video but i get sound

like the screenw ill be black on playback with the sound

how do i fix?
