Maybe you can try to confirm her to initial title, and then you'll have the opinion of the judge... I have nothing against her, we are just talking about a subject which interest us ^^
I have one too, a tall boy, and his father come from a mexican kennel.

And I'm sorry too but I can't let anyone say I don't know them. All the breeds look now quite different, pictures aren't prooves because dogs evolve in the way human-being want. I know there are different sizes and coated. But there is a breed standard, just make some research on internet and you will find it. It is firstly for dog shows and helping breeders to keep the caracteristics that we like, but actually only pedigree dogs can be considered pure.

Maybe ancestors had short legs but not them. Xoloitzcuintle is not a name for any sort of hairless dogs that exist. It's a breed... so with a standard (and miniatures too).
But don't worry, she is still a cute dog ;)

daschund/xolo mix!

Is the long one part dachshund?
Meant to say she isnt show quality but is pure. When a breed has a shorter leg variation....its often called 'cobbie'.

You are confusing breed standard with show quality. She want breed standard but is Purebred. Much like my 'deer' Chihuahua. Also, pure Chi but not breed standard like the Appleheads.

she has been dna tested. sorry to argue, but you are wrong and obviously don't know as much as you think you do. there is no "breed standard" that has been internationally agreed upon. Xolos do come in different sizes. Some are even full coated.

Sorry. She is full xolo. There are statues of them just like this from the Aztecs. She is called a miniature and there are many photos of them just like her.
