  • The ones in POTC are exaggerated, maelstrom in real life are not that big...

    none that we know of though haha

  • That is not a maelstrom, that's just a whirl in the water! A maelstrom is big and very deep like the one in Pirates of the caribbean 3!!

  • What beautiful color the water has! We see this in the Pacific Northwest in North AMerica in areas where "rock dust" changes the refraction of the pool to make a brilliant turquoise.
