  • its amazing how modern thalberg was in that age ! :D

  • there are reasons why most forget Thalberg or even Alkan, they had pretty decent technique but their musicality was sorely lacking.

  • A bravura performance of a typical Italian Dance of the 19th century. Chopin, Liszt and others wrote such pieces to demonstrate their respective piano technique; needless to say, Thalberg was no exception!

  • Thalberg = musical Genius

  • Bravo!
