The Best Motorcycle Roads - New York Essex CR 6, Tracy Road and CR 24, Adirondack Park

A new series featuring some of the best motorcycle roads. This video includes Essex CR 6, Tracy Road, in Adirondack Park, New York State. Off Interstate 87 exit 30 riding east to the intersection of CR 7c amd Power House Road. Also Essex CR 24 riding west from Schroon through Adirondack Park to Minerva and the intersection with Route 28N. More routes to be documented. this road has been a playground for a few years since NY had it repaved (It leads from I-87 Exit 30 to a Shock Incarceration Facility... There are only a couple of sections that you should beware of. Also, there was a sour apple living at the halfway point who calls the state police on bikers and car enthusiasts. The road is 55 and on a bike, you're gone... After midnight, this road gets serious.

Got to love the cager that's sitting in the middle of your lane, trying to backup into their driveway. I would have slowed to a stop thinking they might start backing up into their driveway (assuming that they did NOT see me that is).

@LordTimelord yeah.. It was an in the moment thing.. You can't see in the video that we both saw each other early and they had me visual the whole time. I indicated my line behind them somewhat early and was ready for anything. For sure the best and safest thing to do in such a case is to slow down to a stop. Always riding thinking drivers cannot see you. Happy riding!

@636Youssef If you are referring to the tail of the dragon ( deal's gap ) or hwy. 129, you must have caught it lucky - there is such a large amount of law enforcement and cars and trucks on it during the weekends that we locals tend to avoid it and keep to the lesser known roads in the area.
