"Paranormal Activity" Review...Disappointing

I'm just baffled by the countless reviews of people sooooo freaked out by this movie!
So as a person easily scared by movies, I ask: "Have audiences become gigantic pussies?!"

I just watched this movie and i totally agree with you, its a good, well thought out film which had me on the edge of my seat at times but its amazing how so many people have branded this film the scariest movie of all time. I live in England and its just as hyped over here

The changeling's piano score at the opening credits is really tragic. I remember that film, it was good. George C. Scott was really good. The Blair Witch Project was a terrible film. The concept and hype made the film unmissable. Thats where Blair witch made its millions, it was the ultimate con. The last Broadcast is more scary (and the ending is SICK)

Yeah, I loved Last Broadcast, but admittedly I was put off by the ending. I love the twist but the sudden switch to cinematic mode took me by surprise. I admire that, but as a person who studies Realist films (and is a bit of a purist) I tended to like Blair Witch for consistency (plus my early childhood films remind me of that style so I was used to it)

Also Changeling's score is very haunting, been trying to find it online for years.

I agree with you in most parts. I do think the big "banging" sounds were pretty terrifying and it stuck with me. Basically if it were a silent film it wouldve sucked.....more haha. Blair Witch, personally for me, just did not thrill me. Ghost child sounds is almost cleche and wouldve probably scared most people back in the 40s. Yes Par. Act. was pretty lame especially the ending. of course Speidlberg had to go special effect on this movie which was kinda killed it. Also previews ruined it too.

What in god's name is this crap thats supposed to be the scariest film out in movies right now, Paranormal activivty was about as scary as taking a paracetomol. I wanted to be scared I wished it to happen, but this pile of bullshit made me laugh. It was far more creepier for me to think I was Micah or something at least I had his mind set of the situation. But mostly through the film the only thing that was on my mind was that Katie has nice boobs Phew Phoow what a set
