  • @SingingStovepipe Where did you get your arrangement? I've been looking around online for it and haven't been able to find it.

  • @SingingStovepipe I could be wrong, but anyway, you should totally transcribe it for bassoon! I play a little bassoon too.

  • @hwales1 Are you sure about that? I thought it was originally for voice and piano. It doesn't matter too much , though, as Stravinsky did the arranging himself. As a bassoonist, I get to play the arrangement for violin, oboe, English horn, clarinet and... bassoon. I love it so much I may just transcribe the solo part some day.

  • This was originally for oboe and piano. It was transcribed for violin in 1933.
