The Living Oceans are choking to death all around us. Coral reefs are dying from global warming, bleached white the coral can't move or adapt to changing temperatures fast enough, their home becomes their tomb. Estimates are that between 35 - 70 MILLION sharks are butchered each year for their 'fins'. Unsustainable and often cruel as still living sharks are dumped back in the seas.
The Gulf of Mexico now has chemical dispersants - untested and never before tried, being spread not only on top of the gulf but under it. The oil balls up into tar pellets, this deadly waste will be washing up on the fragile ecosystem for decades and poisoning the wildlife and local inhabitants for far beyond what BP will except as it's responsibility.
That is really cool!
