  • Great review! I just purchased this watch and love it. I was wondering if you can help me out in verifying its authenticity. I've seen another review on youtube of the same watch, and the box it comes in (the bottom half) has an angled cut to it, but the box that I received is perfectly square. What does an authentic Seiko watch box look like? Your input is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

  • It is a white box that is square.

  • solid!

  • nice nice. what about the case back? solid or see-thru?

  • the caseback is solid

The Boxes are all different depends on who you buy it from.. Ebay some sellers will get the watch from seiko but won't buy the box cost them more money I guess. I paid 600$ for mines same rose gold.

  • I bought this watch, but I have a doubt: How strong is the surface treatment that gives it the rose gold color? Will it rubb or scratch with time? Can anyone tell me? Thank you very much

  • I have had this watch for nearly 2 years now. I really like it. My only "pet peeve" with it, that while it's the top model in the Velatura line (except for the limited edition Yathing Timer) they didn't use a see-through caseback.

  • How long have you had the watch for? Over time the gaskets in the watch wear out and the gaskets need to be replaced. If you have just bought the watch with 2 or so years the gaskets should be fine but if you had it about 3 years then you should get the watch water tested and resealed
