What do you mean by people saying "Those Copycats from Green Day" they can't copy anything, they came before every "Punk/Alternative" band today and they influenced every one of them to start no matter what they say.

Calm the hell down. Pete even says its "a tribute to a special band. Without then we wouldn't be up here" dumbfucks just enjoy the music. I love both bands, so I'm not a butthurt fuck like some of you. Its a fall out boy video. Oh and as I said, I've been playing guitar and bass for 2 and a half years. Billie Joe is not a bad guitarist, he just uses rather simple power chord progressions. Their songs have been getting more complicated with more complex solos as well.

Second, I actually have reasons, for not caring for Fall out boy's music, and well as to why Green Day is musically better. 1: Green Day is one of the best live bands ever, Fall out boy can barley play live 2: Billie Joe has an amazing voice that is his own and he can keep it up live. Patrick's voice sounds half dead live. 3: I do play both guitar and bass, thank you very much, Billie isn't jimi hendrix, but some of his songs like Basket case for example have a tricky rhythm pattern.

First of all, I don't hate Fall out boy that much, I wanted to see how people would react because they post that kind of shit on Green Day videos all the time.

Calling Green Day punk. HA. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Bull fucking shit, at least Fall Out Boy has some decent guitar riffs, I love Green Day, but learn your fucking music genres, pick up a guitar, and realize, Green Day isn't that special.

HOLY FUCK SHUT THE FUCK UP! Green Day is one of the most mainstream rock bands EVER. Fall Out Boy was underground for much longer than GD. GD was the world's biggest band for like 10 years overall, FOB was maybe huge for 2. Just because Fall Out Boy has a poppier tone than Green Day that doesn't mean they're bad. Patrick Stump is an amazing singer. I love both bands. Enough fucking hate, this is why people hate Green Day fans. Pick up a guitar too, Billie is a shitty fucking guitarist.

There are a lot of punk alternative bands that don't like Green Day. Underground punk bands for example, but I understand where you're coming from. Fall Out Boy got inspiration from GD along with blink and blink loved GD. So, most of today's successful alternative and pop punk bands did follow Green Day, but not all of them. You can't speak for every punk band, considering Green Day were hardly ever truly a punk band themselves. Listen to some Anti-Flag or something. FOB isn't punk either though
