excuse my ignorance, I am very curious as to what else in your life has changed, besides self injections, since you were diagnosed with diabetes.

@NannyGadi This is a great question. I could answer it several ways, Such as, what has changed in the way I treat my diabetes or what has changed in my life because of diabetes. Well when I started testing my Blood Sugar I had to place a drop of blood on a strip, wait a few minutes, than wipe off the blood to what shade of blue and green it left. Then match that color to the side of the bottle for a blood sugar range. Then a few years of doing that the LifeScan Onetouch meter came out.

The only thing that hurts when taking insulin shots is cold insulin, right out of the fridge. It stings sometimes. Other then that, I am so used to it with taking the Lantus at night and the Humalog before meals.

@MorganKrista1 the PH levels in insulins can cause the sting feeling as well. I hate that cold feeling of insulin going in.
