This week Washington State kicked about 5,000 families off of its welfare program, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), while those who keep their monthly check from the state will now get less money. KXLY4's Sally Showman reports.
Well, just another example of the end of the welfare state. I'm exhausted as a taxpayer for many reasons, and you're concerned because society good or bad can't support your overwhelming basic needs. Wake up for the children's sake and manage your own affairs because we all will ultimately live our choices, Things will not get easier for the great majority likely including youself, so make an effort to become fully aware of all the possibilities.
a lot of the people happy about the cuts , cheering because the believe blacks or other minorities will be hurt don't realize most of the people on welfare look like the woman in this video. Good job :) America is great at hurting its own.
that chick needs to quite doing drugs and stop making so many damn babies. mrbuckwilliam is exactly right the government is heading full steam towards martial law and all these people wont have to worry about a thing because over the last 30 years they have built thousands of work labor camps much like in China and what the nazis did and the government has executive orders which allows the president to put anyone he wants in them for as long as he seems fit
the country and state are broke and bankrupt and is about to go under martial law. i imagine things will progress quickly in a short while. with food prices about to skyrocket, i feel so bad for these people but mostly for the children. they'll be suffering so much for the effect that has been brought on by large corperations, whose ceo's pay themselves an average of 260 times more than average workers. it is a sinful situation and the only direction to look for help is god. shame on our leaders
Fuck welfare and the liberal nanny agenda. I cant afford to pay for douche bags welfare because Id rather be the working poor than a welfare bum!

you wouldn't be struggling so much if you didn't have 5 kids. I bet a box of condoms or some pills cost less than it takes to support your kids.

@BeantownJim
Don't worry Jim, they'll still get their welfare checks; the cuts will only affect U.S. citizens! :-(
