From 3G basestations.... to USB devices!

Picochip has unveiled its vision for next-generation femtocells, including picoXcell technology that will allow its customers to create an entire 3G cellular basestation in an ultra-small form factor such as a USB dongle.

The concept of a basestation on a USB dongle was one of several Picochip developments in the spotlight at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

As well as demonstrating other exciting technology, Picochip will be showcasing this at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (14-17 Feb 2011). Come and see us at the Show......
