Train approaching! Please remain behind yellow line

Part 1

Railfanning in Boston with AuroraFoxNEC and MattProTrains on Thursday, 16 July 2009.

Includes multiple MBTA, Amtrak, and Acela trains, as well as Orange Line subways. All clips in this video were taken at Ruggles Station, Boston, MA.

Please note that I wasn't actually as close to the trains as it appears in some of these clips. In the clips where the cameras were in a fixed position and closer to the trains than usual, I had the cameras resting on a post and was standing further back. Safety is always my #1 concern!

Haha, I forgot to mention, where I was standing for most of this video, was right next to a big wood barrier to close off about half the station's platform. The parts that look dilapidated are closed to the public.

The MBTA trains get up to about 75 in some areas. I been on an Amtrak to NYC a few times, and they can get up to 100+ I think. ^^
