To even the playing field, we must "de-develop the USA" , redistribute the wealth globally (take your income) vis cap and trade and other measures. Socializm is taking American money and giving it to poor countries.

Someone has to explain to me why taxing the rich more is a bad idea. I've heard people saying that taxing the rich more is "punishing them for making more money". How on EARTH is that punishment? When 5% of the country owns 80% of the wealth, that is a SERIOUS PROBLEM. Nobody needs multiple millions of dollars. It should be the DUTY of the rich to help those with smaller incomes especially in times like these. I can't believe someone would equate taxing the rich more with punishment.

they alreayd pay most of the taxes. There's only so much you can tax people. ANd with increased taxes, all they do is deduct more by spending on tax deductible goods/services and/or you get more folks evading taxes.

Tax the rich? Funny! Now your oil change is 18.99 as opposed to 17.99. Your plumbing bill just went up another 3 dollars. The rich NEVER pay tax increases, your stupid ass will. Go after something really worth the effort, but a question for you first. How much in taxes do ILLEGALS pay? That's right shit for brains, about 20 million of em and still counting. Toss in housing, education, medical, other entitlements that the ACLU makes sure YOU PAY etc. This country better snap out of it.
