Improv piece combining elements of John Zorn's Cobra piece with some of John Cage's techniques (maybe I should have called it Going to the...hm, maybe not...) Performed by members of the New Haven Improvisers Collective: Bob Gorry, Paul MacGuire, Brett Bottomly, and Steve Zieminski

  • Interesting, where was this originally performed? Is there more recent material?

  • Glad you found it interesting! We played it at a little bookstore in New Haven called Neverending Books. We did a second version where I refined the technique but unfortunately I haven't been able to scrounge up the audio for that yet! Basically everytime you hear a change in the music I'm holding up a new card with new instructions - it reminded me of your cool improv video - though this is a little noisier! :D

  • New Haven, what state is that in? That's in the Northeast coast isn't it? DO you know how you happened to find my video, by the way?
