3-28-09 for sale in southern california on ebay now... Vintage HONDA cb 350 super sport with extras. 1972 Honda cb350 Super Sport running project bike with extra parts.

This auction is for one motorcycle with both tanks and all extra parts shown.

This auction includes:

• running 1972 cb 350 motorcycle with correct stock dark-olive metallic green fuel tank and matching side covers with no broken tabs

• Very nice teal and white 1970 fuel tank with cap and good petcock that are clean and holding clean fuel to run the bike currently

• Very nice original tool kit in pouch that fits into toolbox on bike

• 1970's Shoei hard luggage saddle bags with correct mounting for bike

• 1970's passenger padded sissy-bar back rest with luggage rack that fits over saddle bags and is also correct for cb350.

• Bill of sale for parts bike

This is my second 1972 cb350 project so I am selling it to fund an old scrambler purchase I just made. These are very great bikes and I wish I could hang on to them all.

I cleaned the carbs, swapped-out the tank for the teal and white tank (clean inside and includes a clean petcock), replaced fuel lines, put in a good battery, replaced a condenser and the spark plugs... it fired on the third kick and ran.

I fiddled with the carbs a little more and got it to rev, idle and start with one kick as seen in the video. I tried to adjust the clutch cable for a test drive, but could not get it right. So it may need more than just adjustment. The gears shift through well, but the clutch will need adjust or repair before this bike can be ridden.

Good points of this bike are:

Engine starts easily, runs well and idles, seat is really nice, mufflers are very good and quiet the exhaust well, rear tire is very nice and oversized for a great look, comes with two keys and switch is dash-mounted instead of under the tank near the hot exhaust, front light works, some of the blinkers are hooked up and working, tags are from 1981 so this bike had a nice break and will no longer be in the computer for any back fees, 1970 teal and white tank is worth about $150 or more, complete stock green matching body parts are rare and allow you to choose two styles of vintage look for your bike, cycle looks straight and is all stock, should clean up well.

Bad things about this project are: Green tank needs to be flushed because it has very dirty old fuel in it, needs new front tire because side walls are cracking, front disc brake needs to be cleaned, remounted and bled, bike has rust and pitting in various places and is not a show bike, clutch needs further attention before it can be ridden, one of the lower front engine mounts is partially broken which does not seem to affect the running condition (see video of idling bike), electric starter button is not hooked up but the starter does work when tested.

Local pick-up only in Ventura, California fifty miles north of los Angeles and half an hour south of Santa Barbara.

Bid with confidence and good luck.

Please check out our other vintage parts also on ebay... thanks. running bike. Start bid is $499. with no reserve. Stay tuned for a larger version of this video.

  • I had '71. yes it had both kick and electric start. This one sounds rough, a tappet adjustment would be a start.

  • Pretty random question, but how tall are you? I'm 5'5 and really interested in one of these bikes. I'm just wondering how tall they are.

  • did you move the ignition switch? it is under the tank on mine but mine is the edurro.

also could you tell me where to find parts for them cus I can't find anything.
