So there weren't any translated versions of the original LazyTown plays - and I knew a lot of people wanted translations, so I decided to do it myself. :)
The quality may not be the best, but if I can get a better quality of the movie - I'll try to re-upload.

I used to watch the originals all the time when I was younger and went to see the plays in theater. I was obsessed with it! To be honest, I didn't really like it when the TV shows were produced and the fact that most of them were puppets kinda bugged me. But I really got used to it - and of course to non-Icelanders, adults playing those roles is weird. :D

I used their Icelandic names in the video and it should be pretty obvious who is who, but in case you get confused, here's the list of the characters and actors (thanks to Lazypooky for the list):

Íþróttaálfurinn - Sportacus (Magnús Scheving)
Glanni Glæpur/Rikki Ríki - Robbie Rotten (Stefán Karl Stefánsson)
Solla Stirða - Stephanie (Linda Ásgeirsdóttir)
Halla Hrekkjusvín - Trixie (Vigdís Gunnarsdóttir)
Goggi Mega - Pixel (Rúnar Freyr Gíslason)
Nenni Níski - Stingy (Kjartan Guðjónsson)
Maggi Mjói - Jives (Gunnar Hansson)
Siggi Sæti - Ziggy (Steinn Ármann Magnússon)
Stína Símalína - Bessie (Lilja Guðrún Þorvaldsdóttir)
Bæjarstjórinn - Mayor (Magnús Ólafsson)
Lolli Lögga - Cop/Policeman (Sigurður Sigurjónsson)
Póstur - Mailman/Postman (Ólafur Darri Ólafsson)
Glaumbæjargengið (Gang of thieves)
Voice/puppetry for Haninn (the Rooster) - Guðmundur Þór Kárason

If anyone's interested, here are also the actual meaning of the names (the ones that need explanations):

Íþróttaálfurinn - It literally just means "the Sport Elf". He doesn't look like an elf anymore, but in the first movie, "Áfram Latibær (Go, go, Lazytown), he certainly did. :) I hope I'll be able to translate that one too.
Glanni Glæpur - It basically means "Madcap Crime". In this play, he pretends to be Rikki Ríki, which means could be translated as "Ricky the Rich One".
Solla Stirða: "Solla the Stiff One". Well, yeah, I know she isn't stiff in this play nor the TV shows, but in the first play, she was so stiff she could bearly move. :)
Halla Hrekkjusvín: Just means "Halla the Bully". Kinda explains itself.
Nenni Níski: "Nenni the Stingy One".
Maggi Mjói: "Maggi the Thin One."
Siggi Sæti: "Siggi the Sweet One". The word "sæti" can also mean "cute", but here it means "sweet". As in sweet as candy. :)
Stína Símalína - "Stína telephone line". Yeah - because she's always on the phone.
Lolli Lögga: "Lolli the Cop".

The rest of the names mean the same thing as their translations so there's no need to explain. Also, some were obvious, like "Goggi Mega", so I didn't explain them. :)

The next part should be out soon, but it takes a long time to get it up so please be patient. :)
If there's anything you want to know, just tell me.
Information about actors, phrases, anything. I'll try to help! :D

  • Not meaning to nit pick but shouldn't Glanni Glaeper have been translated into Robbie Rotten in the subtitle also the same for iprottaalfurinn been translated into Sportacus

Good stuff though and nice work

  • @LazyBlueHaze Since Glanni Glæpur doesn't literally mean Robbie Rotten and neither does Íþróttaálfurinn mean Sportacus, I decided to keep their Icelandic names. :) I didn't want to connect it with the TV series.

    Thanks for commenting. ^-^
