Official Corps of Engineer film showing the laying of pierced steel plank (PSP) runway by the 21st Engineer Regiment (Avn) during the 1941 war maneuvers. PSP was used extensively during WWII to quickly lay airfields. PSP is sometimes called Marston Mat after the place in NC where it was first tested. http://bit.ly/psp-fact

  • Thanks very much for this presentation.

    My father still has three planks for hi slandrover 110, of which would be nearly 70 years old now, and tey are still ar every much prized item, especially when travelling in vast conditions.
