Working with Jean Thomas and using her photos and record scans we are able to present her first 45 recorded for Cadence records in 1962. She would go on to do other singles and group records as a member of the Rag Dolls, The Beach Girls and many more. She backed hundreds of artist both well known and obscure and with Ellie Greenwich and Mikie Harris became the backing team know as 'Les Girls'

  • The best version i have ever heard. Tender and relaxing.

  • I'm not certain if my late father knew Jean but he knew Mikie Harris. In 1963 or 64, Mikie recorded Little Miss Lonely on Epic and it is my understanding that Jean sang the high note at the end of the song. The B side was By Choice or By Chance and was written by John Korolow, my dad. I've saved the original lead sheet all these years. Wish I could get in touch with Mikie Harris but have not been able to get any contact info for her. Any ideas how to contact Mikie would be appreciated. Thanks,

  • a typical looking catholic school pretty girl with a great voice- thanks for posting

  • What a lovely voice -- and a great rendition of this song. It's better even, to my mind, than Andy Williams' original version. This rendition seems much closer in spirit and sound to what might have emanated from the Holly Golightly character herself: sweet, pure, hopeful and true (even if so much about this character was fake). The video was a pleasure to hear; I'll be listening many times more.
