One thing that Hoss doesn't talk about is actually WATERING the boxes. The system mentioned by GlobalBucket would be perfect for this field type production.

Good information. I have 10 boxes and my veggies grow great here in Florida I am gonna try fruit trees next.

Yeah, if you buy 1 at a time. I imagine there was a deal struck where they get them WAY cheaper than what you can get them for at retail.

what's the initial start up cost on an acre of those things?? arent they like $30 bucks each?

Wow, that's outstanding. What is the size of your place there? I love the idea and do you compost and re-use the soil year after year? Why chemicals? Why not organic there?

Yes, the soil underneath them is fine. They grow acres and acres of cherry tomatoes in it.

Yeah growing them in a box,so the soil under em is what I was talking about.
