This video in NO WAY SHAPE or FORM implies that America is responsible for this tragedy. The first 4 mins, simply are to establish a connection between 18 year old college students, living perfect lives, and the people of Cambodia. I love our country, however many students disrespect it. The first half of this video, simply demonstrates the freedoms we have that are provided for by our men and woman of the armed forces.

  • cont... I too am an OIF/OEF Veteran. Returning to college i saw 18 year olds trying to tell me about war, freedom, and sacrifice. The 1st 4 mins of this video is to grab this select groups attention, and establish a common reality between these kids perfect lifes, and the suffering of the cambodians. A normal educational video is just another 8 mins of sleep for this group, establishing a connection between Cambodia and someones life, keeps their attention and allows the material to sink in.

  • Well, thank you for the comments. I am not in any way saying America is resonsible for any wrongfull killings. Actually i was intending to say the exact opposite. This video was made to help 18 year old college students relize that freedom comes at a price, and that they should be Thank full to live in a country in which they do not have to worry about these type of actions.

  • I think dude was saying the same thing you were saying American govt wants to do good things and most of the time does do good thing

you clearly say it better than any of us do

  • I am a Cambodian immigrant. I survived the the purge of Pol Pot killing field and have served for 24 years in the Army and 17 years in Special Forces the is no comparison between the U S Govnt and Khmer Rouge or the U S Military and the Khmer Rouge, so take deep breath and thank a Veteran today when you see one .

  • the person who made this video is trying to say america is responsible for all the wrongful killing in other parts of the world

come on man the american goverment is here for you you should learn to trust your goverment
