    I couldn't even find my parents on this web page never the less grandparents even though they have an uncommon last name. After I searched for the name a list came up with list of totally different last and first name results. this didn't help.

    Great intro to family history research. I loved how you point out that interviews of people today can give clues to the past. But even more, those interviews will some day be a valuable link for future generations of your family.

    In my family we were lucky enough to have found a picture of my great great grandparents and their family in a picture that was taken of them in either the late 1890s or very early 1900s
