Dear "ice123age" :- Thank you for the correction. I left India in 1987 and never visited India again. I vaguely remember a prerelease of this movie and thought it mentioned MT as the author of this wonderful story. Sorry for my mistake and once again thank you for the correction.
"Guess who is coming for dinner" offered an excellent treat for discerning movie goers. I thought nobody can beat Spencer Tracy, Catherine Hepburn and Sydney Potier team in acting. I can proudly say that Nedumudi Venu and "Urvashi" Sharada in this movie achieved that unique honor. O.N.V's lyrics match the outstanding story/screenplay of M.T. Jonson's music composition transformed O.N.V's lyrics into heavenly melodies. In short it is an entirely satisfying movie experience. Thanks again Deepak!!
Many decades ago I had the privilage to see a great movie - "Guess who is coming for dinner". Spencer Tracy as Southern Racist (Redneck) father, Catherine Hepburn as his wife and Sydney Potier as his would be son-in- law. The location was deep south in U.S. (Alabama if I rememberright) and the period was ninteen fifties. When the daughter brought a black doctor as her would be husband the parents were shocked and exploded! All three major actors done well but Spencer Tracy won the acting laurels
Dear Deepak:- Let me once again congratulate you for uploading this uplifting song from "Oru Minnaminunginte Nurungu Vettom". Screenplay and story by M.T. is as usual outstanding. I wonder how long it will take the Nobel Prize Committee to select him for the lierature award!! His characters "Amminiedathi" (Nalukettu) and "Kuttiedathi" are still haunt me. The story of the aging couple (Venu & Sharada) is so touching. O.N.V's lyrics, Johnson's music and Parvathi's cameo role are all wonderful.

MT did not pen this movie. It was scripted by John Paul.
