For people who can't take responsibility for a DOG.

I take it you realize they wer originally grown for food in their homeland. In Peru they are still eaten, and according to Wikipedia (which one should take ligtly) some 65 million of them are consumed every year there.

I think real pigs would make better pets, they are smarter alright and a higher developed mammal. Unfortunately they are solely bred as a source of food for us.

@happydancer4 No piggies need lots of roughage, it's good for their teeth and digestion! piggies mush it all up before the swallow it so it won't harm them
