Thanks to feminist meddling in the life of this world, men and women have been established as separate political power blocs with separate interests that are bound to clash. This is the objective reality of history; it is true whether you like it or not -- and most of us don't, but the feminists got exactly what they wanted.
However, there is a silver lining to this very dark cloud. Namely, that feminism no longer has any ground from which to exert moral leverage against men. Men are free to go their own way and look out for their own interests. They have no social-contractual obligation toward women, and women are on their own. Besides, women have got the feminized state political machine and the women's movement to look out for them. . right?
That sounds harsh, but it's the way things are these days.
@nightinthetwilight Your reference to women being "owned" , whether true or otherwise, is not relevant to the matter under discussion.
Derail fail.

@nightinthetwilight Then you are using a "rubber" definition of 'ownership.'
It's amazing what you can do with rubber semantics.

@AlekNovy You do the same thing :/

@fidelbogen Yes, they were owned by their husbands. Marriage was a deal between two men to strengthen political bonds or business deals. Women had little to no rights.

@nightinthetwilight We have had a half-century of patting feminism on the ass and agreeing with it, so time for a change of pace, eh?

@AlekNovy Alek, you showed up very quickly. ;)

@nightinthetwilight You do realize your pathetic strawman is borderline libel. Easy for you to try this slander bullshit hiding behind an anonymous username.

@nightinthetwilight It is not a "fact" that women were ever "owned" by fathers/husbands. It is only a claim which certain people have made, and it can be disputed. So please don't confuse facts with claims.

@nightinthetwilight
It sounds like you are not paying attention.
Prove that I said what you say I said.
Go ahead. PROVE it.
But you won't, because you can't.
Because I never said any such thing.
But go ahead and prove it.
