A teaser for our CD with music by Charles E. Ives sung by barytone Charles Van Tassel and played by pianist Marien Van Nieukerken.
The song is called Two little flowers. It's a cute springtime song about flowers and... little girls!

  • I tried to buy this cd but I never managed to do so .. ;-(

  • I was. I just graduated :-(

  • So you're at Yale?

  • Not YouTube, that's for sure! Look him up in your school or public library. He's a major American composer, at the forefront of the first wave of progressive American classical music. There's been a lot written about him.

I'm spoiled... my school's library has all his original manuscripts and whatnot :-D

  • i need some one to help me out im doing a project on this guy for my music class n i dont know aything bout him can someone tell me where could i find some info on this ives guy

  • Would really love to have such a video at You Tube like this but of Ives' song, "Yellow Leaves," which, albeit, rather gloomy, is nevertheless quite deeply beautiful.

  • This is about Ives' daughter Edith and her friend Susanna. Lyrics by his wife Harmony.

  • Does anyone know if it's possible to get free Charles Ives sheet music off the internet?
