@brianclough I've heard Rangers fans say the same about Celtic's win in 67. Total bollocks, you can only play who's in front of you. Also the smaller team must've put out someone bigger in an earlier round, Malmo knocked out Monaco and D Kiev. Plus the gap beaten teams back then wasn't so wide which is why Forest and Celtic could compete. Money, wasn't as big an issue back then....

Although some people mistakenly say that we had an easy Final opponent in Malmo, there can be no doubt we thoroughly deserved the title 'European Champions', because we ended the reign of Europe's top side then - Liverpool.
