What a fine video... I spent last Derby in Kentucky and fell in love with the place. In the words of J.T Ellis...
"I want to get back to the old time hills, where the corn juice runs from the old distills.
I want to get back the good lord knows, I want to get back to where the blue grass grows.
Back in old Kentucky"
I spent time with each of the master distillers at the 12 distilleries... My pick is Woodford Reserve for a truly great experience.
Its Julep time !

This was excellent, Nigel. As an amateur scotch snob, it is only recently that I have begun to fully appreciate the different character of quality bourbons (my favorite is Buffalo Trace). I'd always thought of bourbon as a drink for summer sunsets; your photo essay here makes me want to get out of the winter skies in front of a fireplace and warm up with a glass! Quite nice; thanks for making it.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it. My job has me spending a great deal of time in Kentucky and as a result, I have fallen head over heels for bourbon. If you are ever in Louisville, check out Bourbon's Bistro. They have a HUGE selection of boutique bourbons, amazing food, and the staff loves to educate newbies to the world of bourbon. Thanks again.
