Say NO to eggs

An RTE News report from January 4th, 2012 in which an Irish egg industry representative callously states that the number of battery caged hens killed - one hundred thousand (100,000) - 'isn't a huge amount'.

Actually, 100,000 birds slaughtered IS a huge amount. It's a massive amount of cruelty and killing. It represents a fraction of the total number of birds killed every year in the egg industry.

The egg industry is based on suffering and slaughter -- regardless of whether the eggs are battery eggs, cage-free eggs, organic eggs, free-range eggs. Help end the suffering by eliminating eggs from your diet now.
