Stop Frederick Memorial Hospital's Park Avenue Garage Access Point

"It is my understanding that during construction, the Park Avenue entrance will be the primary access point until the construction is complete." --City of Frederick Official 01/10/12. Frederick Memorial Hospital has plans to put a new entrance on the southwest corner of their garage which could bring potentially 3500 more vehicle trips into the quaint Elm street neighborhood in the near future. The close knit neighborhood has banded together to directly oppose the Hospital believing that the additional traffic will pose a safety risk to the nearly 100 children who live there. You can make a difference. Join us this Sunday Jan. 15 @ 8:30AM for a silent protest in front of the proposed entrance as we form a Human Stop Sign to show our opposition.
