  • Ha ha i agree but there are tough artists from any era. Gauguin got in a fight cause some guys called his model (who was very dark skinned) by a racist name. He whooped some ass but then fell and broke his foot and got beat down. Braque could box and one time gave a licking to Picasso in a friendly sparring match. Manet got in a duel with an art critic (with swords). Toulouse Lautrec challenged some dude to a duel cause he was talking shit about Vincent. Caravaggio killed a man in a bar fight.

  • I know nothing about painting, but great job.

It is very cool to watch the process.

  • Caravaggio would be a car jacker/ graf artist today. That's why I didn't put them up against the old school masters. I would have loved to been around to see Paul & Vincent Getting surly & pissed in some bar. Now Picasso needed a ass whippin & to be told,"Remember when you painted stuff that was worth a damn?!" Our city's modern art museum has some of his crap that should be displayed in the bathroom. I liked his early stuff.

  • this is just great! I've been drawing lots but no painting for weeks . . .i'm starting to go a little nutty! ;)

  • Did you ever think that if the impressionist & the post-impressionist artist "of old" got in a gang fight behind some brothel that the post-impressionist would beat the living snot out of the impressionist? Yeah, those drunkin bastards rule!

  • You have the skill and imagination, to bring a mundane subject to life. I really enjoyed the transformation!
