Honestly. If there's an app that can make the phone zoom, then the phone can zoom itself, the app wouldn't be able to make the camera zoom unless it had the abilities to do that on it's own.

I have the iphone 4g to use the zoom, start up the camera then tap the center of the screen and a - + slider bar will show up on the bottom of your display. No reason to buy a zoom app.
