I have to get one done in a few weeks. I honestly am so freaked out about it that I cry every time I think about it. I have already put it off once and I cant put it off any longer but good lord above I am freaked. They wanted to take a biopsy of my uterus while examining me for cysts (which I have a lot of) and I had a panic attack right there on the table. I dont know how I will react to this on the actual day...

@ABaby4OurHome Omg! Well I was pretty cramped up for an hour after I had it done, and then the cramping went away. But later on that night my lower back started hurting and my legs. It affected my whole body! lol I'm just glad it's over with!

@LKJNTEJ Sorry it took me so long to answer you! At the hospital in my town they said you can't have someone in the room with you because they didn't have enough of the outfits that protect you from the rays of the X-ray. There was two nurses with me and they were female so I felt a little better about that!

I watched your video the other day before my hsg. Well, i went in and had it done and I was so nervous that I was laughing during the procedure!!! LOL!!!! Who laughs during a hsg?

DOES THE DYE GO THROUGH THE CATHETER OR DOES IT GO ELSE WHERE I AM CONFUSED AND SCARED AND HAVE TO HAVE IT DONE SOON THANKS

@TheChikirok The dye goes through the catheter into your tubes and utereus. If there is no blockage the dye will spill out into your body. It's really not that bad, I got myself really nervous for nothing. Everyone has a different experience, but for me the worst part was when they pushed the dye through. It just felt like a lot of pressure and cramping. You'll be fine! Good luck though when you do go get it done!
