I love how this movie reflects the other side of suffering of the Japanese...it is such a wake up call to what war can do to both sides of the people of the countries...

america and japan had hard times... ALL of the soldiers had a hard time... i wish that everyone would just stop attacking people whenever they want there selfish "needs" and wants...

@ssgtmark It is evident, no matter what your great uncle tells you, that people suffer when there are bombs falling out the sky killing you and your family. Did you not watch the video at all? I am not an arrogant ignorant American like so many are. Having prejudices keeps any nation from using the past to fuel a better future. They brought it on themselves, yes. They suffered for it, yes. We are all human and should care about the entirety of the world and not just the military's hoo haa, yes.

@Pookis11 ok dude the people in japan supported the war with every thing it was a honore for them to be drafted in the military and and great unvle told me about when his platoon invaded the homeland this whole village jumped off a cliffed so they wouldnt be under American rule u can not say what u are saying they wanted the war they cursed Americans ur logic doesnt make any sense

@ssgtmark They blew us up. We blew them up. Does that mean we (as just regular citizens) deserved not to be attacked as much as them? The government brought it upon their people; thus my point. Regular citizens don't deserve destruction and the lasting effects of inhumanity.

that is the truth and that is why America is dying right before our eyes cuz how people are raising there kids my father was a marine and he raised me on the corps values i worked every day and i still do i say yes mam and no mam and i respect my elders and i dont do drugs i go to church every sunday i miss the good old days now i cant go no were with out seeing some dude with his pants on the ground or his lip pierced oor 2 guys making out hate me all u want but im telling the pai full truth

@Pookis11Japan attacked America and found the the Corp oorah was to much for them one of there officers after the attack of pearl harbor went home and told the emporer "we have just awoken the sleeping giant"that was the good old days when there was no political locks on the military the full might of the Corp and the U.S army came down on the axis power and we kicked there butts in 4 years dont pick a fight if u cant stand the fire, they brought it on there selfs

I remember favoriting this a year or so ago always wanted to watch the movie was scrolling threw my favorites saw this and i decided to watch the movie its not really a happy story sorta a harsh reality of what happens but pretty good movie nice video as well.

@Pookis11 i totally agree finaly someone with enough sense to realize this. america's and japan's leaders were put on the spot in this war by their people or whatever reason, and sometimes they made decisions that were right at one time and wrong at another
