Thank you for commenting back. I am the Rhonda this the film is about. It's very frustrating to see all the stuff about myself that I know is far from the truth.

It must have been a night to die for.

@StonedGremlin, why was the movie filmed in black and white? Is it because Elmer Wayne Henley's art is painted in black and white or is it simply for dramatic effect?
-
@texasraven69 Who will tell us the truth then? :-)

I watched this, and since my uncle was involved in the whole thing, and I showed the movie to him and he said it was pretty accurate.
-
@thecinemasnob Well, maybe j=his methods aren't, but some of it holds up, my 2nd cousin was friends with the accomplice David.
-
@pnub47 Dude, I actually got to see it, it's a pretty okay representation of what Dean was up to in the 70's.
-
I figured it was about time for someone to have the balls to make a movie about Dean Corll.
-
Wayne loves to receive letters. I think you are saying he replied to yours???

@texasraven69 WAYNE - I HE SENT ME A RPLY

We did take a lot of liberties with the movie, mainly for legal reasons. For instance, the true story was in 1973 in Texas, and the movie is in 1977 in the midwest, plus the last names are different. But we tried to be relatively accurate with the story itself.

I must ask, was this based on a true story that occurred in early 1970s in Houston, TX? Case where a Dean Corll and two accomplices killed some 27 teen age boys and the entire ring was unraveled on August 8, 1973?
I was not in Texas back then but know the Heights area well and cant help but wonder the many times I may have drivin by the family homes of some of those who once lived in that area. Sad times in Houston for sure.
I am curious to know if this is based on that story?

Yeah, it's loosely based on that story.

Looks astonishing, but, are you going to upload it on YouTube?

I wish I could, but given the nudity and stuff like the castration sequence, I don't think it would remain up for very long. I'll try to find another site to post it on though.
