Don't try this at home! Frames Direct releases footage of 102 mph pellets bouncing off of Oakley's Plutonite sunglass lenses while the pellets go right through other brand lenses. Takes a while to figure out that the model wearing the sunglasses is a dummy. Ouch!

@boonie1994 I'd say airsoft is for fun. There is no comparaison between an airsoft gun and a real one. The recoil, ballistics etc... have nothing in common.

But if you mean "tactical" simulation like learning to clear a room, how to "handle" a weapon (I learned that there were airsoft guns with the weight close to real weapons) etc... then yes. But combat simulation is a no no for me!

oakleys are not worth it. A friend of mine once had a pair and sat on them. They broke in half by the nose. He had just bought them for over $300 dollars
